An occupational qualification is a qualification associated with a trade, occupation or profession, resulting from work-based learning and consisting of the knowledge, practical skills and work experience standards as defined in the Skills Development Act (Act No. 97 of 1998).
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATE : COMPLIANCE OFFICER
The Institute has developed the Occupational Qualification Compliance Officer which is approved by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
The Institute is both the Development Quality Partner (DQP) and the Assessment Quality Partner (AQP) for this occupational qualification.

External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA)
Learners will only be allowed to register for the EISA of the Occupational Certificate: Compliance Officer once they have successfully completed the Knowledge, Practical and Work Experience components, and have been issued with a Statement of Results (SoR) from an accredited Skills Development Provider (SDP).
Learners will have to complete the EISA Exam Registration Form and attach a copy of their ID document and Statement of Results. The registration form (hard copy or electronic registration) needs to be submitted directly to the Compliance Institute.
Two EISAs are offered in June and October each year. The examination fee of R4,190 (incl VAT) is not included in the course fee payable and is payable to the Compliance Institute directly.
The exam is only offered in English.
